How to get there

Venice Airport (VCE - Venezia Marco Polo), located 1h20min by car from the wedding venue, is the largest international airport. From there we suggest either

A) hiring a car to reach Castello di Spessa

B) taking the train, which is approximately 2 hours from Venezia Mestre to Cormons (door to door 3hrs including a bus to and from the the train station)

C) taking an Uber - estimated cost €250-€300

Alternatively, Trieste Airport is a smaller airport, located just 20 minutes drive from the wedding venue. From here you can take a taxi to the Castello. Trieste airport offers flights to/from the following European cities:

By Car

From Munich it is a relatively easy 5hr drive through Austria.

For those travelling with kids, or would like to plan a stop along the way, we suggest the following:

Salzburg → for city sightseeing
Krimmler Waterfalls → are the highest in Europe
Mittersill outdoor swimming pool → located about half way, featuring water slide, kiddy pool and vast picnic area

Parking at Castello di Spessa is easy and entirely free.
